Hi!
My brain is not functioning this week. Daylight saving time has made me incompetent and foggy and we should abolish the practice.
Influencing is alive and well in this economy. Long time reader and even longer time friend, started listening to Nilufer Yanya due to last week’s HA. And when I ran into him, we both decided to buy concert tickets. Daniel stated last week that he is off Instagram. My job here in society is complete.
It’s tax season and two of my friends told me their salaries. Tell me yours and I will tell you mine. Maybe I’ll throw in my SIN number in there as well. The days of not talking about religion, finance, politics, etc are long gone and archaic.
I am in the market for wireless clippers / multi groomers under $100. Send recs for buzzing off very little hair I have left. It seems like Philips has a pretty solid ground in this market. Or at least by SEO practices.
That’s all the energy I could muster this week.

Too many Oreo Thins, eaten by me, procured by Daniel.
A curated, yet random selection of beer from Burdock Brewery. It really means something when I drink beer in winter.

Again, probably not. Octopus farming: critics say plans are unethical for ‘exceptionally intelligent animal’ for The Guardian.
Canada’s Liberals Are Refusing to Deal With the Opioid Crisis at Jacobin. The liberals are useless.
Also at Jacobin: Oil Company Profits Have Surged. It’s Time to Tax the Windfall. “there is nothing patriotic or freedom-promoting about corporate price gouging — particularly when it comes to a dirty commodity that desperately needs to be phased out.”
Business Insider has a fun and informative series called So Expensive on YouTube. This week, we find out Why Sandalwood Is So Expensive.
My dream Toronto home: Designer and Artist Tom Deacon Goes Back to the Drawing Board to Re-Renovate His Home and Studio over at Dwell. The warm and light woods, mixed with black accents. One day I will win the lottery.
Maryam Nassir Zadeh Is Raising Two Kids in This All-White Loft at Curbed. I wanted to see more from this article. All the images from this tour I have already seen on IG. If I had to choose, I would probably go with Tom Deacon’s home. But if it MNZ’s home was bequeathed to me, I would gladly take it.
This picture I took of pigeons eating tossed salad. Lol.
It’s going up to 17 degrees today on March 17. Have yourself an iced coffee.

DST really messed me UP this year. And to think last week I said I was a fan. This weekend is for recovering from DST and doing taxes. And maybe sharing salary #s who knows.
