Attempted The Cut style headline to promote clicks.
We are living in unprecedented times: a heat wave. The public pools are open late and I enjoyed an evening swim on Monday. The media was at Sunnyside so I might be on the news?
Everyone is having a BRAT summer. The internet tells me. There are two versions to this: insecure and narcissist. Charli oscillates between comparing herself to her peers and party girl. I think the internet is celebrating the latter. (Not to discount the former.)
I think the album is fine. Just fine. I was hoping it would lean more electronic.
Good: 360, Club Classics, B2B and Von Dutch.
Just ok: Girl so confusing, Rewind, Mean girls, Talk Talk (this sounds like k pop and I don’t like k pop LoG doesn’t do k pop)
BRAT hex colour code: #8acd01. But if you’re RGB: 138, 205, 1. You’re welcome.
AURALEE makes simplified outfits look so easy. Look at how those pants sit on those shoes. Those rolled up sleeves. Probably took the stylist assistant two hours to get it right. Those large, but not atrociously large lapels. That book? Where are you going??? Beige clothes are highly underestimated. Another prime example from AURALEE is this striped shirt.
I’m on LinkedIn a few minutes a day because I have to but honestly it’s not going anywhere. I shouldn’t have to feel embarrassed for people’s posts. I shouldn’t be suffering like this. A boomer once said “LinkedIn is happening” and that’s when I knew LinkedIn was dead to me.
Life of Gay should pivot to LinkedIn. LinkedIn Influencer?????? Feet pics but spin it as it relates to entrepreneurship so it’s ok to post? It’s ok to post right????
Tech companies are rushing to push AI on all our products. Probably to please shareholders at the cost of the consumer. I am finding all the products I am using to be overly bloated and cumbersome. Looking at you Google. I feel like the ideation to launch pipeline is feeling rushed for UX designers. Again, at the cost of the consumer!
All this bloating is making me use technology less so I guess that’s a good thing!
