Hello,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the space I have carved out on the internet. The time I spend online and my output. This is something I wrestle with a lot. IG looped me in twice but this times it feels firm. Mostly, as of recent, I feel like the idea of being online just feels cringe. I think it comes down to commodifying my opinions via this platform. Or any internet space. The idea right now of not being online far outweighs being online. Anonymity is in!
What’s important right now, according to LoG.
I am for the aesthetic, but not for the edibility of it. Flamboyant as Ever, ’70s-Style Desserts Are Making a Comeback at NYT. // THE 1970S WERE a time when over-the-top presentation, be it fluting or flambé, wasn’t only celebrated but expected. It was a decade during which entertaining was meant to look arduous, not effortless, and desserts were designed to appear complicated — even if the recipe started with a box of cake mix.
I am Jamie Lee Curtis. The way she says ridiculous deserves an Oscar.
This article brought me back to when I first learned who Logan Paul was. What Matt Rife’s baffling Netflix special tells us about comedy at Vox. His Netflix special opens with a domestic violence joke so, yeah…
This vis from BBSP is what triggers me when I shop for pants. With that being said, I am in the market for a wide-straight leg trouser (my preferred fit), preferably cotton or polyester or a blend that slightly pools at the shoe. To be clear, it does not touch the ground. Something like this. But impossible to find!
The Well has taken off in Toronto and apparently influencers are into it??? The biggest offender is the red brick that every developer uses. Why do developers choose this ugly colour. It’s akin to landlords and grey flooring. A work/live/community hub space that only three major banks and Shopper’s Drug Mart can afford to be retail tenants. Anyway, no desire to visit anytime soon.
Listen to this song by Björk ft. Rosalía because all income generated will help fight fish farming in Iceland.
‘Selling Sunset,’ Dressed to the Nines at NYT. In S7 EP 7, Romaine wears a Dior logo shirt and Mary sports a LV logo jacket. If this isn’t fashion I don’t know what is! I will continue to vouch for this show and hope one day I get to try Emma’s vegan empanadas.
These cinnamon rolls from School Night Vegan. I have been having one almost every day since Friday. So good I had to give half of them away otherwise I would have eaten them all. TBH it’s better than Bad Attitude…..
This was quite succinct. See you next year! Maybe?
